OSCAR NOMINEE · DOCUMENTARY PRODUCER · HOST
FROM DOCUMENTARIES TO BIGFOOT
Dave Pederson is a documentary producer and host whose work has focused on power, inequality, media, and the stories people tell themselves about America. His credits include producing work connected to Super Size Me and Americonned, a documentary about the economic forces hollowing out the middle and working class.
The Bigfoot Manifesto is an extension of that work: part politics, part media criticism, part campfire dispatch from the edge of the forest. The show uses humor, myth, and conversation to expose the monsters hiding in plain sight — billionaire fairy tales, corporate gaslighting, broken systems, and the propaganda that keeps them alive.
WHAT IS THE BIGFOOT MANIFESTO?
The Bigfoot Manifesto is where progressive politics meets cryptid culture and biting satire. Each episode digs into the strange overlap of politics, economics, media, labor, technology, culture, and conspiracy — with a tone that is equal parts investigative journalism and late-night campfire story. The premise is simple: Bigfoot myths are entertaining. Political myths are dangerous.
- Labor, wages, and working-class survival
- Media propaganda and billionaire mythmaking
- Technology, surveillance, and AI panic
- Cryptids, conspiracies, and political storytelling
