Before recording, Dave will usually send a simple prep sheet with the episode theme, possible questions, links, and any areas worth highlighting.
TECH REQUIREMENTS
The show records remotely, usually through Riverside. You do not need a professional studio — just a quiet space, decent internet, and a setup that helps us capture clean audio and video.
CAMERA
A webcam or built-in laptop camera is fine. Place it near eye level and sit centered in the frame.
MICROPHONE
A USB microphone or wired earbuds are better than built-in laptop audio. Clean sound matters most.
LIGHTING
Face a window or place a light in front of you. Avoid bright windows or lamps behind you.
